Swan Hill Police Requesting Public's Help
Swan Hill police are requesting the public's help with an alleged hit and run that occurred recently.
The 59 year old woman was struck by a motorcycle while she attempted to cross the Murray Valley Highway, about 100 metres south of the Shell Service Station in Nyah on Sunday April 22nd, around 7:40pm.
The motorcycle swerved off the road before continuing northbound towards Wood Wood without stopping to offer assistance to the alleged victim.
The lady received fractures to her lower leg and back injuries.
The motor cycle is described as having a dull headlight and possibly a road or trail four stroke bike.
Police would also like to speak to the driver of a small tray truck which was traveling in front of the bike.
