2.5kg of cannabis has been seized from a vehicle at the Tooleybuc Bridge
2.5kg of cannabis has been seized from a vehicle at the Tooleybuc Bridge border checkpoint, as part of New South Wales Police's Operation Border Closure.
Just after midnight on Sunday, officers stopped a white Hyundai Accent on the bridge.
Police spoke to the driver, a 39-year-old woman, and passenger, a 35-year-old man, who were both allegedly unable to produce a valid permit to enter NSW.
During a search of the vehicle, police located 2.5kg of cannabis in the boot. It’s been seized to undergo forensic examination.
The man and woman, from Casula, south-west of Sydney's CBD, have been charged with take part supply cannabis have been refused bail to appear in Dubbo Local Court today.
