Deputy Chief Health Officer Annaliese van Diemen has exercised emergency powers to help limit the spread of coronavirus:

This includes placing restrictions on people, businesses and other organisations, and limiting gatherings, recreational, cultural and entertainment activities.

Some of these restrictions are being gradually eased specifically in relation to numbers who can gather and the removal of the five reasons to leave home.

If you are working at home, you should continue to work from home.

It is still compulsory for anyone with a confirmed diagnosis of coronavirus to go into isolation, and to meet other compulsory conditions before being able to resume normal activities.

Anyone arriving in Victoria from overseas is subject to compulsory quarantine for 14 days.
