TESSA Lavey will make her long awaited debut for the Dandenong Rangers against the Melbourne Boomers in the opening Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) tonight.
The Olympic point guard has made a splash in every side she has played for, and will once again take to the court to ply her trade.
As a pioneer of women's sport, Lavey has continued to pave the way for young athletes across the Mallee.
She has been featured in videos on the Rangers' official Facebook page, making an impact since switching from the Perth Lynx at the end of the 2016/17 WNBL season.
Lavey was part of the Opals Olympic campaign in Rio and also appeared for the green and golds on the floor earlier this year in the FIBA Asia Cup in India where she won a silver medal.
