Prime Minister Scott Morrison tonight outlined a tighter set of restrictions to combat the ongoing Coronavirus threat.
From tomorrow night (Wednesday 25th March) the lockdown will include shopping centre food courts, real estate auctions and open homes, beauty therapy, tanning, waxing, nail salons and tattoo parlors and a range of other non-essential services.
Hairdressers and barbers will be able to stay open but must follow social distancing rules and adhere to the limits on the number of people that can be on the premises.
Galleries, museums, libraries, swimming pools and community facilities, amusement parks, arcades, indoor and outdoor play centres will also have to close.
Weddings can continue, however only the bridal couple, a celebrant and their witnesses can attend in person.
Funerals can only proceed with a maximum of 10 people observing the 4 square metres social distancing rule.
